Swap Your Gift Cards at a Gift Card Exchange

There are several websites online that allow you to trade unwanted gift cards for gift cards that you will actually use.  So if you've been the victim of a store credit refund or a poorly thought out gift card purchase by a friend you may be able to exchange that gift card through a swap program.  Here are a few gift card exchange websites to try:

• Swapagift - Swapagift proclaims itself the leading Internet site for buying, selling, and swapping gift cards.

• Certificate Swap - The Internet's Gift Certificate Marketplace.

• Cardavenue -  Cardavenue allows you to exchange, auction, or buy gift cards as well as set up a gift card wish list to help with trading. Cardavenue currently charges sellers 3.95% of the auction's closing price plus a $.50 closing fee.  In trades, each person pays 3.95% plus the $.50 closing fee.
  

• Plastic Jungle - Allows you to buy, sell & trade gift cards.

• Craigslist.org - This site offers a local option to try and sell your gift cards.

If you don't want to put in the effort to sell your gift card to another consumer directly through a gift card auction, then perhaps you should try to find a company that will buy back your gift card such as Gift Card Buy Back. It's just one more option to deal with your unwanted or unused gift cards!
